9/27 Friday Dinner, Nov 4th Hiking

Friday Dinner You are invited to our next free dinner this year, hosted by UNC International Friends, this week Friday Oct 27th at Chapel of the Cross on Franklin St.  Please note this is a different location from most of our dinners, across the street from UPC next to the planetarium. The address is 304 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514 (Google Maps link).

Dinner will be served at 6pm.  If you get there before 6pm, you will be entered in a drawing for a prize. We will end by 8pm so you can catch the bus home – or get a ride with someone there.

Please join us for traditional pumpkin carving! This is always a favorite night with students and a chance to take part in this American Fall tradition. We will have a pumpkin for each table and then you will create and carve your own design. It is always a great sight to see all the pumpkins at the end! Bring your friends and join us for a fun evening together.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday before 6pm.

Hiking at Hanging Rock

International Friends is going hiking! Come join us on Sat Nov 4th to see Hanging Rock State park with the Fall foliage and then some waterfalls. We will provide the transportation and be your guide. Cost is $20 per person. For registration go to :https://goo.gl/forms/TFgWPjaoaVKKrVKD2

We will leave Chapel Hill around 8am and return before 7pm. Bring a lunch and we will eat at the top of Hanging Rock and see the changing leaves for miles around. Afterwards we will take a short hike to some waterfalls. Bring money for dinner as we will stop in Greensboro and eat together on the way home. Any questions please email UNCinternationalfriends@gmail.com.
