Come with us to Daytona Beach, Florida Dec 28-Jan 1 for Vision 2013!
Christmas break is long and cold in Chapel Hill… Why not escape the cold and come with International Friends to sunny Daytona Beach Florida on Dec 28-Jan 1! We will attend the Christian conference for international students called Vision 2013. Vision conference is for all students to come explore who God made you to be. Are you an international student and a Christian? Come and be challenged to grow in your faith! Not a Christian but interested in learning about Jesus? Come and learn who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him! This conference is for those who want to know more about Jesus, make new friends, and sight-see in Daytona Beach!
Come join other international students from UNC, the Triangle, and all over the USA for an unforgettable experience at a hotel right on the beach! The conference will have general sessions that will give you a chance to meet students from around the world, sing a few songs about Christian faith, and hear from world-class teachers exploring the amazing person of Jesus. There will also be smaller seminar sessions that will allow Christian students to learn practical aspects of following Jesus, or non-Christians to discuss more about Jesus’ life, works, and claims.
Each afternoon will be devoted to sightseeing in Florida. Conference organizers will provide guided transportation so you can explore the nearby area of Daytona without worrying about transportation details.
On New Year’s Eve, you’ll enjoy singing and dancing performances by your peers from many nations. Then you’ll welcome the New Year with friends from all around the world!
The conference cost depends on the type of housing you choose. You can read about the difference options here at the conference website – bridgesconferences.com. There is a $50 scholarship offered for those who agree to go to all the meetings and who register before November 15th! International Friends will provide affordable transportation (we will be renting vans and driving together) for a small additional fee.
Don’t miss the chance to attend this life-changing event in such a beautiful location…with generous scholarship funding. Until then, stay in touch with International Friends staff who can keep you informed!
