Hello there! International Friends would like to invite you to a very special Thanksgiving celebration! We will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday, Nov 12 in the School of Public Health (see map here) from 6pm-9pm. You will get a chance to try all the traditional Thanksgiving dishes–turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce… You will get to make friends and share about your own culture’s harvest festival/traditions… You will get to even see a play about the origin of the Thanksgiving holiday, starring your international friends and colleagues… And to top it all off, at the end of the evening we will be offering some line dancing lessons of some old, traditional American folk dances from the 1800’s!!! Even if you can’t stay for the dancing, we hope you will join us for the dinner and great culture-sharing opportunity. Please bring your friends and family and join us on this special occasion.
Since this is a special event, we are trying to get an estimate of how many will be attending in advance. If you could click this (here) link just let us know if you and your family plan on attending. This does not sign you up for the dinner, but is an anonymous survey so we know approximately how much food to prepare. Thanks for you help in this!
