Can I Trust the Bible?
I also wanted to invite you to an event on Tuesday night that is sponsored by RUF (Reformed University Fellowship), a Christian ministry at UNC. It’s called, ‘Can I Trust the Bible?’ and will be from 8-9pm in the Union auditorium on Tuesday. The campus pastor of RUF at Duke University, Will Spokes, will be speaking and he has a lot of knowledge about this topic. He’ll be speaking about how the Bible was compiled, whether it’s 100% accurate or whether there are contradictions and inaccuracies, and whether it’s historically reliable. I think it will be really good! If you’d like to come, email email@example.com and we can meet at 7:50 in the Union by Alpine. I hope you can come!
October 30 Hiking Trip
Finally, this Saturday, Oct 30 is our hiking trip to Hanging Rock State Park, and we have 3 spots left! We will meet at 8:30am at the parking lot in between the Global Fedex Center and the School of Pharmacy, and then will drive the two hours to Hanging Rock. We’ll spend the day hiking outside, enjoying the beautiful views of mountains and the incredible colors of all the changing leaves. The cost of the trip is $25 to cover van rentals and gas, and you will also need to bring a lunch to eat at Hanging Rock as well as money for a quick dinner on the way back. We will be back by 8:30pm Saturday evening. If you would like to come, please email Kate Hagborg at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot. We hope you will join us!
